While there were some parts I liked, this movie made me crazy for what it might have been. With the director Mohit Suri and the hits he’s had with Ek Villalin and Aishiqui 2 plus a book by Chehat Bhagat, you’d think this would be great, but it just didn’t work for me at ALL. The more I thought about it, the more infuriated I got. I happened to see the same showing as Kathy Gibson, who REALLY hated it.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, nor do I intend to. I have read the book, which was horrible, and from the promos I knew that the film would be worse. Like you said, there were some interesting ideas but it all fell apart in the book. The movie at least has Arjun Kapoor and the songs. The book instead has a special appearance by Chetan Bhagat, for the sole purpose of promoting himself. I can see why you found the film infuriating. The only reason I didn’t throw the book out of the window was probably because I have this thing about completing what I start 😂
As much as I enjoy your video reviews, I miss the writing 😦

I don’t know that I want to make a video for every film, so I’ll try to mix it up with some written reviews. Thanks for commenting, and I can only imagine about the book after seeing the film. I am like you — it’s really hard for me to just throw a book to the side and not finish it.
